I stopped at a couple gas stations to refill the water bottles, get power bars and to empty my bladder. The ride felt great with the exception of the foot pain. About 18 miles of the trip was along highway 40 which is also the same route used today by the 165 mile long Ride Across Indiana Ride (RAIN). I didn't see any RAIN riders since I hit that part of the trail too early.
A patron at the Knightstown gas station asked if I doing the RAIN. When I told him I wasn't and it was too early to see any of them yet, he suggested I ride on to Richmond (the RAIN finish point) and pretend I was the first rider in. He said the first in gets a police escort through the city. As tempting as it sounded, I decided not to.
I'm now over 2,000 miles for the year.

Nice to read about your enjoyment with the bike.
I have found a few quirks with my Musashi but nothing that cannot be easily fixed. My first concern was brakes and when i changed pads and levers to Shimano 770 that changed the equation. The Mushy gets lots of attention and comments, mostly good.
With your feet, try different positions for your cleats, mostly in the position closest to your heels and shoes not too tight.
And... Do you have a rear fender yet? One ride in the rain will tell you why...Yuk!

Hey Rick, I really am enjoying the Musashi; more so then any other bike I have had.
I'm workig on the foot pain, I'm actually working with a cycling fitter to try and solve my foot issues.
I don't have a fender yet but realized their importance when going through a water puddle. There was a stream of water that hit the back of my neck and also flew in front of me. At first I thought it was raining when I saw the water coming down in front of me.
